Internship Application

Our campaign will be offering very time-flexible internships to interested students that want to see how grassroots political campaigns are built from the very ground up. This is a huge opportunity for anyone seeking to learn about political campaign work and has interest in working for city, state, or federal government in the future.
Internship duties and benefits:

  • Interns will be eligible for class credit 
  • Learn how to target voters
  • Study voter trends
  • Contact voters through phone banking and canvassing
  • Coordinate volunteer events
  • Help manage our voter database
  • Learn about community issues
  • Network with current and former city, state, and federal officials


Internship requirements:

  • Interest in learning more about local politics
  • Be excited and willing to talk to a diverse public about community issues
  • Ability to multi-task and manage short and long-term deadlines
  • Working knowledge of Google Apps, Microsoft Office and design programs and are a plus 
  • Superior communication skills, both on the phone and in person
  • Have a personal commitment to democratic engagement
  • 15-20 hours a week for Spring Interns with a small increase during the Summer (Flexible)
